Laser cutting

I was thinking about how to best use my images from New York and Malta and I chose to edit the images and then laser cut them into some upholstery that I had been given from work. I liked the textural quality that the leather got from laser cutting it, the image didn’t show through particularly well but this abstract quality became intriguing, I intend to carry on with them and see where it goes. I’m also thrilled that I have now become proficient enough with using both Ethos and the laser cutter that I can use it on my own.
